Cathy Hopkins has done it again! She has written a great book. Mates, Dates And Chocolate Cheats is a fantastic book about love, friendship and high school.
I was really excited to read this book because reading is a great way to learn about life. This book is about a girl who is not happy with the way she looks. She try's to change how she looks to get a boy to notice her. But what she doesn't know is that there is a boy that works in the studio with her, and loves her just the way she is.
I think this book would be great to read because it's about love, friendship and family. This would be a great book to read because the descriptions feel so real that you actually feel as the characters.

The Misfits
Are you looking for a good book to read this summer? Well I have the answer, The Misfits by James Howe is what I recommend the most. It's published by Aladdin Paperbacks in 2001, and can keep you busy with 274 pages.if you wonder what kind
of genre it is, it's fiction.
Now if you, yourself feel like a "misfit", then this book is perfect for you. This story begins with four friends who all have one thing in common... being misunderstood. To people they are know as losers, but they see themselves as misunderstood.
The characters in this story are interesting . Addie is the only girl in the group. She's very smart and is very much into children's rights. You will see what I mean if you read the book. She's tall and she's made fun of because of it.But she doesn't listen to them.
All I can say that you would enjoy her. Another person who's in the group is Skeezie Tookis. His character is like a Elvis type. The way he dresses, and talks, it's like he's stuck in the 60's days. At least i think so because he owns a leather jacket and always has his hair slicked back. He's a person I think you would also like. I think all the characters are all characters you would like. Joe is another boy, but a different boy and i think I'mm just going to say it ....he's gay.
