The reason I picked this book was because my teacher recommended it to me. Finally, I decided to check it out. This
book is about a girl named Paris McCray and a piano teacher, whose name is Mrs.Rosen. Paris also learns a lot about her piano teacher,but most of all Mrs.Rosen was a victim of the Holocaust and her family died.

Now the only one she has left is Paris.The reason Mrs.Rosen was a victim of the Holocaust is because she is Jewish. Even worse, Paris gets in trouble for wearing the armband with the Jewish star to school. As a consequence,she had to learn about World War Two, which is Mrs.Rosen's past, but worst of all at the end of this book a tragic thing happens.

Paris also has problems with Tanaeja, because Paris knows that Tanaeja bullies her brother. Paris finds out in class why Tanaeja is bullying her brother. The reason is you need to read the book to find out.
